Ibiza

This summer I went to Ibiza, it was amazing... I went with a friend, her mum and her mum's friend, so I was free to do anything because my mum wasn't there. We went five days, to a 4* hotel, but we did not stay too much in the hotel, we were the whole day at the beach or walking around Ibiza. It was my relaxing trip ever. There was no day we didn't go to the beach... One day we went to Formentera by boat. The water is clear and the sand is white, you can see all the fish in the water. But I have to say that these two islands are very very expensive. Formentera is more expensive than Ibiza, you can find a little bottle of water for 8€... That's the only inconvenience of Ibiza and Formentera. And the night is just incredible, you hear music everywhere! I'm going back when I'm 18!

Movie Review: Twilight

Isabella Swan, a teenage girl, has to move to Forks with her dad who is policeman. Forks is a small village in Washinton where some murders take place. She thinks it's a very boring village and doesn't like her new school. But shortly she meets a strange but seductive boy, Edward Cullen. She tries to find out what secret does Edward hide. After a few days, Edward decides to reveal his secret identity, he tells Isabella he is a vampire and that they are who kill people in town. They fall in love, some dangerous things happen to Isabella but Edwars is always there to save her. Finally, they go together to the school ball.

Before watching the movie I thought I woudn't like it, but I just loved it. The effects are really well done and the idea of the movie is original and entertaining. I can't wait to see the last film.

Tennis Resolution

In one week, when the most of the exams are finished, I'm planning to do one month intensive training. I'm starting next saturday, I'm playing tennis from 11 o'clock till 12:30, and then I'll do 1 hour gym. Sunday I have to play a match in Gerona. Monday I'm playing from 16:00 till 17:30 and then 1 hour gym too. Tuesday rest. Wednesday, same as monday. Thursday finally rest... Friday from 16:00 till 17:30 too, but 1h30 gym after training. And that's the routine I will have during one month apart from doing things for school. It will be hard, but I'll handle it. Apart from that, this summer I'll go one month to a special tennis camp in Barcelona with a very good trainer. I'm really excited to start this week! I'll leave you some pictures from my tennis.

Barcelona journey

Yesterday, I went with my mum, a friend and her mum's friend to Barcelona by train from Figueres. We spend the whole day there, going from shop to shop. We thought we had our train at 20:45 pm, so we went to a tapas bar and went to the train-station. We were looking at the electronic board but didn't saw our train on it. So, we went to the information center and asked why our train wasn't on that board. The guy said we didn't look well on the card and said there was no train to Figueres any more, so we had to take one to Girona, but we had to take one hour. So, we went to have a drink in a bar and went to the station again. We took our train to Girona and when we arrived we asked a taxi how much could it cost to take us to Figueres. We thought 95 was too expensive so we looked for another option and found out that there was one bus leaving Girona at 1 o'clock am. In the rain, we went to have another drink in a small bar and took our bus to Figueres. When we arrived in Figueres, luckily, the car-park was still open, so we took our car and went home. I will never forget this experience...

NEWS: Empordà Sports

Two weeks ago, there was a great event in Empuriabrava. It was an exhibition for all those people who were playing in a sports-team. It started at 11 o' clock, and finished at 1 o'clock. There were many people at the event. You could find the Empuriabrava football team, the Esplais, the tennis team(my team), the basketball team, the handball team... First, they took a photo of each of the teams, and then, the town hall gave diplomes and presents to those who had made a good sport season.
I think it's an amusing event because all those who practise sport in Castelló d'Empúries, come together in one place, and it also causes motivation to those who do the sport, so they can win something that day.

NEWS: Marriage

Last sunday, a maine couple got married in the US. Their ages are 89 and 87. They were married in front of a small group of family and friends. They have been dating for 17 years, and thought that it was time to marry. They even want to go on honeymoon to Bermuda! Well... this couple has prooved that true love knows no age limits!

Introduction

Hello Lourdes,

My name is Yani Genesse and I was born here in Spain (in Figueres if you want to know) but my parents were both born and raisedd in a small village in Wenduine, Belgium. I played tennis so far as I can remember, so that influenced my life a lot. I play a lot of tournaments, mostly in summer. National tournaments such as International tournaments in France or other countries. This sport life I consider I have, implies a lot of important decisions and sacrifices for it, like sometimes my trainer doesn't want me to go out for some matches, but I always loved tennis anyway.
More about my family... We own two companies: a Butterfly Park near our school, in Castelló d'Empúries, where my dad mostly works, and a Minigolf, in Empuriabrava, where my mum and I mostly work. My mum and I work mostly in the Minigolf because it's were we live, our house is together with the company, so it's easier for us to work there.
Then, we have a parrot called Jako, a really nice parrot, we had three parrots in our lives and this one is the best one, he is very playful. And he is THE event of the minigolf for our clients, they all want to see him, or take a picture with him on their shoulder. He was always in the trees of the minigolf, he can't escape because because he never learned it, and, just the part of his wings that makes him fly, is cut. So, one night, three weeks ago, just before I began an International tournament, I was working in the minigolf, it was very busy so I was not even looking after Jako. Two hours later, my mum asked me to look for him, no Jako. We looked for him the whole night, we got up at five o'clock in the morning, when the sun was just getting up. But nothing, we didn't know anything about him, it was horrifying... The next day everyone in Empuriabrava knew he was gone, and I was on the way to France, very upset and sad. At night I almost couldn't sleep, I was thinking what could have happened to him... Every day I called my parents and they had no news. The last day, my dad calls me: I have good news, Jako is back. I said: What?! How?! I just couldn't believe it. After 5 nights away from home, he was back.

NEWS: New titi-monkeys species

Two weeks ago, in Brazil's Amazon, a new species of Titi-Monkey was discovered. They are little monkeys with tails never seen before and rare features on their head. It's an important news because now they'll have to study them all over to see where they came from. It's good to have new species of animals coming out as many animals extinct.

Mysterious story...

Hello! Well... yesterday, sunday, I invited a friend (Max) who plays tennis with me to have dinner in my house. My parents had a dinner with some friends in Rosas, so we were alone. After having dinner, we thought about watching Twilight on TV. During the film, I was talking with my tennis-coach on whatsapp. Suddenly, in the middle of the film we heard two doors clapping, we looked outside but we saw no car, nobody. Five minutes after that, we heared like somebody was knocking on the garden window. Quickly I said to my teacher what had happened, he said he was coming in five minutes. Meanwhile, Max and I each took a stick so we felt more secure. When my coach arrived, we went outside to look around and saw a chair that was fallen down against the window. It was very mysterious, we went back inside and locked the door. We don't know what happened that night, and I think I don't want to know...

Fairy Tale: Three little pigs

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs, who lived without parents. They were always having fun, climbing in trees and running through the woods. They were welcomed everywhere because of their kindness.
Soon winter arrived and they started to realize they needed a real home, it began to rain so each of them began quickly to build their own home.
The youngest and laziest pig decided he would build a straw hut. The second youngest pig thought that straw was too fragile so he decided to build a wooden hut, a little less fragile. The oldest pig, the most patient and wise pig, decided to build his house with bricks, so he could protect him against the wolf.
One day, when the two youngest pigs were playing, they saw the tracks of a wolf, so they ran to their homes. The wolf went first to the straw hut, he just blew away the hut, but the little wise pig ran to his brother's wooden house. The wolf just did the same, he took a very deep breath and also blew away that hut. Meanwhile, the oldest pig was watching the scene from his window and quickly opened the door for his two brothers. The wolf tried to blew away the brick house several times but he couldn't. So he took a ladder and decided to enter the house through the chimney. The little pig saw it and light up a fire. The wolf went down and burned himself. He never tried to do this again and the three little pigs were very happy with their action.

Comparation 13/Adrian Mole

There are many similarities between Adrian Mole and 13. In the film the main character, who is Tracy, is thirteen years old, and the main character of the book, who is Adrian, is thirteen too. Another similarity is that both parents of both children are separated, and it's hard for the children.
Next, in both stories, the main characters have a best friend, but at the end of the stories, they seem to be bad friends. Then, there is another similarity, I think it's the biggest similarity of all... Both stories talk about sexual life, alcohol and drugs. Adrian, when he meets Pandora, he gets wetdreams and he does sexual things, he thinks sexual too. And Tracy, starts to drink, practise sex, have boyfriends... things she didn't do before.
I think the film is more striking compared to the book.
